I believe, when you learn any foreign language, one of the most important things is to train language templates. I mean it is better to remember on how to use whole phrases and sentences than trying to remember every one word.

When you’re trying to remember unknown words, it is difficult if they’re not linked to context. Again, if you’ve remembered some new word, you might be curious on how to use it right – because you have just remembered it alone and you haven’t a clue how to connect it to all other words and get the right sentence.

This is why I believe, that to train of using whole sentences is a good idea. This way you have completed phrase in your memory. Again, it is easily to remember new words collected in completed language construction.

Look at children. They cannot speak when they’re too young. How they learn to speak? How they know languages they’re learning? The answer is simple: they don’t. All what we do when we’re kids is just repeating.

Every kid just repeats what it hears, even if it doesn’t know what exactly it just said. This way they learn how to speak right. They don’t split phrases to separated words to remember every one. They just repeat and remember the whole phrase they have heard.

Grammar also can be a big stone on the road. Did you know all these grammar rules before you came to a school? I am in doubt about that. I think maybe no one knows grammar rules in a childhood. We meet all these “big stones” when we come to a school – but at this moment we can speak already, and we don’t have any problems with using our native language. Okay, most of us…

So, if you’re learning new foreign language, I think this is a very good idea to not start with grammar. Every language has its own “special cases” and hard to learn parts of it. And grammar is one of such difficult fields. So, just don’t start with hardest part. Train how to use completed language constructions. Use it. Repeat it by the movie starts. It is a good idea to choose some easy to understand and not deep-in-mind ser. and try to watch it with original audio track.

Nowadays we have the internet. So, it is pretty easy to start a weblog. Write. Just write every day and anything.

Also, it is said, it is very important to speak actively if you want to learn a language. If you’re not using language actively and regularly, you can train just passive skill – you might understand what other people say very clean, but at the same time you might be unable to answer because of active skill lack.
